Pocetznakov.sk was created during university studies. While writing my bachelor's thesis, I needed to know how many standard pages my text contained. I found only a few online calculators, which were outdated and cumbersome to use. Therefore, I decided to create my own calculator that would be fast, simple, and modern. The count of characters, words, and standard pages from the text thus became available to everyone. Today, Pocetznakov.sk is the most popular standard page calculator in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The project is overseen by the software company Digitaliko s.r.o.
